// Our Core Values
The first step in developing our eternal mind-set is LOVE GOD – To know Him personally. So regardless of how long you’ve been in church or if you’re completely new to faith, this is important. Because every- thing else hinges on the depth of our love of God.
Ephesians 1:17 NIV “...that you may know Him better [personally].”
Just because we know God (of him) and do Christian-like things doesn’t mean we actually have an intimate relationship with him. Maybe you have been coming to church all your life but you have never made a decision to accept Jesus as the Lord of your life. If this is true, then you need to make the ultimate decision to LOVE GOD PERSONALLY– where you accept Jesus into your life and then choose to Love and obey him.
If we love God, we can’t help but love people. Jesus told us to “Love your neighbour as yourself.” the greatest life change happens in relationships so when we combine life-giving spiritual input with life- giving relationships -
we’re set for significance.
1 John 3:16 NLT We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us.
So we ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
We’re not an accident. But our life will never make sense until we find our calling. Therefore we want to help you Love God, and Love people so you can discover your purpose, through loving and being loved by the right people. And then we want to help you gain influence making a difference to others because:
Romans 12:6 NIV “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.”
This is a GIFT God gives you - something you simply do well naturally – because God put it in you. All of us have a gift, and finding it is part of your spiritual journey.
When we Love God, Love People, and have discovered our purpose – we are well equipped to impact the lives of
others. Serving others is what helps us empower change because it proves we are His disciples. The proof of our love of Jesus is when we have found our place, and we are touching other people’s lives by what we do well. And it’s only there that our joy is complete. And so our IDEAL church is a group of people who are on this Journey, one step at a time.
1 Peter 4:10 NLT “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual
gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
